Spartan manages the Spartan Long/Short Equity Strategy (the “Strategy”) which is an all capitalization hedged equity strategy that invests primarily in the technology, consumer, industrial, energy and health care sectors. The Strategy’s objective is to produce long-term compound returns superior to broad market averages with less volatility.  The Strategy employs an opportunistic approach to invest in high quality, mid-to-large cap companies trading at attractive valuations that possess the following: market leading business characteristics, strong competitive advantages, attractive and predictive business models, financial strength and a history of exceeding financial/operational objectives. The Strategy is managed with a fundamental, research-intensive approach that builds a portfolio of “best ideas” and focuses on risk before reward. The inception date of the Strategy was October 2017.
