Joe joined Spartan in July 2022 after serving 23 years at Friess Associates, where he was the managing partner and head of investment relations and business development for 5 mutual funds and a hedged equity fund. Prior to Friess, Joe was a principal partner at Alex Brown Capital, where he was a member of the operating and investment committees. Prior to that, Joe was a managing director of Smith Barney Asset Management
